How do I create a PDF in Photoshop?
To save a PDF, FIRST save your project as a psd file, so you have all of your layers if you ever need them again. Then do ‘save as’ and choose Photoshop PDF. Keep in mind, the PDF will keep those layers too- you might not want that if you’re sending your artwork to someone else. So because you’ve saved your project as a PSD with all of your layers in tact, you can flatten the layers into one image before you ‘save as’ the PDF. That will make all of the layers into one so that when you send the PDF no one can change your artwork by using the layers. To flatten the layers, (AFTER YOU SAVE YOUR PSD!) select ALL of the layers, and with the menu on the layers panel, select ‘flatten image’. You will see that now you only have ONE layer with all of your combined layers. Then ‘save as’ PhotoShop PDF. It will also help reduce the size of the PDF. Hope that helps! .) - Kindly, Kristina
